Call to Order
With a quorum of the Board members present, the Regular Meeting of the Allen Convention and Visitor's
Bureau Advisory Board was called to order by 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, in the Council
Conference Room at Allen City Hall,305 Century Parkway,Allen,Texas 75013.
1. Discuss Board Evaluation Form.
Board Members discussed various aspects of form. Chair Musa will submit the final form on behalf
of the Board.
2. Approve Minutes of the February 9,2022,Regular Meeting.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Board Member Arnold and a second by Board Member Boone,
the Board voted six(6) for and none(0) opposed to approve the minutes of February
9,2022,Regular Meeting. The motion carried.
3. Introduction of New CVB Team.
Ms.Cromwell introduced new Convention and Visitors Bureau staff members,Alyssa Schertz,
Marketing Manager and Elizabeth Gurren, Sales Manager.
4. Update on Current Market Conditions of the Allen Hotel Industry.
Ms. Cromwell provided an update on market conditions stating Allen markets continue to trend
favorably.
5. Presentation of Marketing Initiatives.

Ms. Cromwell stated the CVB will continue to focus on following trends in the current climate.
6. Update on Sales Initiatives.
Ms. Cromwell provided an update on sales initiatives and stated lead volume continues on an upward
trend.

Chair Musa adjourned the Regular Meeting of the Allen Convention and Visitor's Bureau Advisory Board at
8:57 a.m. on Wednesday,May 11,2022.
