Councilmen: LeRoy Ewen, Mack Holloway, C.D. Whitaker , Clifford Hart &
Bob Lowman.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Mack Holloway that minutes of previous meet-
ing be approved as read. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Mack Holloway That Ordinance No 100 pro-
hibiting the selling and discharging of fireworks in the City Limits be approved.
Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
A request by John Shearer for a permit to open a Pool Hall in the
building above Cundiff's Hardware was tabled by Council till the next meeting
date . Council wanted the opportunity to study, the Ordinance on Pool Halls be-
fore taking any action on this request.
Mike Mahoney, Planning Consultant from Wisenbaker & Fix, along with
members of our local Planning and Zoning Commission were present and presented
a draft of the new Sub-Division Ordinance for the Council's study. City Engineer
Walter Hicks was also present for this discussion.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Mack Holloway that bills presented be approved.
Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Motion C.D. Whitaker Second LeRoy Ewen that an Esaement from the
Southern Pacific Railroad be accepted extending Ash Lane on South Prom Belmont
Street to the property line of the Allen Swim Club. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Clifford Hart that Council upon the rec-
comendation of City Engineer Walter Hicks approve the Plat for Hillside Village
#3 subject to the changes as shown on plat. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Motion Mack Holloway Second Bob Lowman that meeting adjourn.
Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
