Call to Order
With a quorum of the Board members present, the Regular Meeting of the Allen Convention and Visitor's
Bureau Advisory Board was called to order by Chair Simpson at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday,August 5, 2020 via
Video Conference.
1. Approve Minutes of the February 12,2020,Regular Meeting.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Board Member Boone and a second by Board Member Considine,the
Board voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed to approve the minutes of February 12, 2020,
Regular Meeting. The motion carried.
2. Update on Current Market Conditions of the Allen Hotel Industry.
Ms. Cromwell provided an update on CVB marketing efforts and support to the City's area hotels.
3. Update of on COVID-19 Sales &Marketing Efforts.
Ms. Cromwell presented an update on sales and marketing initiatives.
4. Update Shop Local Campaign Initiatives.
Ms. Cromwell gave an update on the Shop Local campaign initiatives.
5. Approve FY2021 Budget Recommendations.
6. CVB Advisory Board Survey.
Adjournment
MOTION: Chair Simpson adjourned the Regular Meeting of the Allen Convention and Visitor's Bureau
Advisory Board at 8:53 a.m. on Wednesday,August 5, 2020.
