Present: Mayor Frank Dugger
Councilmen: Roy Ewen, Bob Lowman, Clifford Hart & Mack Holloway
Absent: C.D. Whitaker
Motion Roy Ewen Second Bob Lowman that minutes of previous meeting
be approved as read. Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Mack Holloway that water and sewer lines
in Hillside Village Addn. #3 be approved on the reccomendation of the City
Engineer. Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Roy Ewen that the following Resolutions be
adopted by Council.
(1.) A resolution to the Ccmnissioners Courttasking that they petition
the State Highway Department for an approval to open Bethany Drive Eastward
to Greenville Avenue, provided that the land owners will donate the necessary
land for the right-of-stay.
(2.) A Resolution showing appreciation to the Lions Club and Mr Eugene
Tobaben for the donation of the radio equipment.
(3.) A Resolution commending the ALLEN AMERICIAN for the effort that
the newspaper is putting forth to help the City.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Clifford Hart that City Accept Mr Ray Hartley's
bid on the resurfacing of the streets, Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against.
Council suggested that the Planning and Zoning Commission along with
Mr Mike MaHoney, the Planning Consultant, be invited to attend the next Council
Meeting on October 15th.
Leon Ussery and Felix Smith appeared before Council and presented
the Annual audit report on the City's Books for the year 1969-70.
Motion Roy Ewen Second Clifford Hart that meeting be adjourned.
Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against,
