AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS,
CHANGING THE NAME OF TRW PARKWAY TO "EXPERIAN
PARKWAY"; AMENDING ALL ORDINANCES OR PORTIONS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the current name of TRW Parkway is consistent with the name of the only company that fronts
on that street, and that company has transferred ownership to Experian Information Solutions, Inc; and
WHEREAS, the Experian Information Solutions, Inc. has requested the same courtesy that was extended to
TRW, and the road be renamed Experian Parkway; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Allen, Texas, is of the opinion that this courtesy should be
extended to Experian Information Solutions Inc. and TRW Parkway should be renamed Experian Parkway.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1: The street named TRW Parkway be, and is by these presents hereby officially changed and
redesignated as "Experian Parkway."
SECTION 2: As a result of this change, the City of Allen will provide for notification of said"change and
redesignation to all public utilities and postal authorities.
SECTION 3: All ordinances or portions of ordinances of the City of Allen in conflict with the provisions of
this ordinance are hereby amended to conform to the provisions of this ordinance.
SECTION 4: This ordinance shall be in full force -and effect as of October 1, 1996.
