WHEREAS, THE City of Allen recognizes a potential traffic safety
hazard as a result of its short -termed, intensive growth,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Allen intends to seek assistance from the
Office of Traffic Safety, Office of the Governor, State
of Texas, and
WHEREAS, the City of Allen wishes to prepare a Traffic Engineering
Inventory for the corporate area and extraterritorial
jurisdiction, and,will implement the results of the
inventory,
BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council this date by vote, authorized the
Mayor to apply for and to enter into an agreement for such
assistance as may be available from the office of the
Governor, Office of Traffic Safety and to facilitate the
completion of the proposed study.
THIS RESOLUTION PASSED AND APPROVED AND ADOPTED on the 1st
day of September , 1977.
