RON GENTRY FIRE CHIEF LYNN JEFFCOAT MUNICIPAL JUDGE VERTRIES RICHARDSON BUILDING INSPECTOR MARY TOD LIBRARIAN BOB ACKER FIRE MARSHAL WHEREAS, in the interest -of providing a sufficient supply of water for use by the citizens of Allen and providing an ample supply of water in the event that a fire should occur, the Planning and Zoning Commission has made a study on this subject, and WHEREAS, wishing to comply with reccomendations made by the State Fire Insurance Board concerning minimum size water lines allowed in subdivisions of the City, the Commission feels this resolution to be in order; and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Members of the Planning and Zoning Conan- ission of the City of Allen, that the following reccomendation be made to the City Council, in all future subdivisions in the City of Allen, trunk water mains shall be a minimum of 8 inch inside diameter in size. CITY OF ALLEN, TEXA , o this the 20th UGGER, MAYOR CITY OF ALLEN r RESOLUTION STATE OF TEXAS KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE 'RESENTS: COUNTY OF COLLIN WHEREAS, the cost of emergency ambulance service in Allen and Collin County, Texas, has risen to become another expensive burden on the taxpayers, but it is essential to the public health, safety and welfare of the residents of the City of Allen and County of Collin; and WHEREAS, the County of Collin will be receiving certain federal funds as revenue sharing to be returned to the citizens of Allen and Collin County in the form of needed services. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Allen, Texas, to indicate to the Collin County Commissioner's Court, the mandate of the citizens of the City of Allen, Texas, that the honorable Commissioner's Court be requested to allocate and designate a certain portion of such revenue sharing for emergency ambulance service with the County of Collin to alleviate this terrible burden.
