Call to Order
With a quorum of the Board members present,the Regular Meeting of the Keep Allen Beautiful Board
was called to order by Chair Ponder at 6:46 PM on Tuesday,June 21,2022,in the City Hall Basement
Conference Room A of City Hall, 305 Century Parkway, Allen, TX 75013.
1. Approve Minutes of the May 17,2022,Regular Meeting.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Board Member Chowdhury and a second by Board Member
McIntosh, the Board voted four(4) for and zero (0) opposed to approve the minutes.
2. Receive Financial Report.Josue Diaz and Andrea Smith gave an update.
3. Receive Update on Signatories on KAB American Nation Bank of Texas Account.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Board Member via email'and a second by Board Member via
email,the Board voted seven(7) for and zero (0) opposed to update the signatories on
the KAB American National Bank of Texas Account to add Donna Giles and remove
John Philips from the account.
4. Receive Update on AgriLife Summer Photo Contest Sponsorship.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Board Member via email and a second by Board Member via
email, the Board voted seven (7) for and zero (0) opposed to sponsor the AgriLife Summer Photo
Contest.
5. Receive Update on KAB Event and Projects.
• June 14—July 28, 2022—Litter Attitude Survey, Litter Index and Community
Appearance Index—Andrea Smith and Josue Diaz explained the purpose of the survey.
• June 25,2022—Allen USA Celebration—Andrea Smith described the event. Josue Diaz
discussed the volunteer schedule.
• June 27-30, 2022—Keep Texas Beautiful Conference—Andrea Smith described the
itinerary.

6. Discuss Outreach Initiatives.
Josue Diaz and Andrea Smith gave updates on outreach initiatives.
Adjournment
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Board Member Chowdhury and a second by Board Member
McIntosh, the Board voted four (4) for and zero (0) opposed to adjourn the Regular
Meeting of the Keep Allen Beautiful Board at 7:26 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2022.
The motion carried.
