Call to Order
With a quorum of the Board members present,the Regular Meeting of the Keep Allen Beautiful Board
was called to orderby Chair Ponder at 6:32 PM on Tuesday,July 19,2022,in the City Hall Basement
Conference RoomA of City Hall, 305 Century Parkway, Allen, TX 75013.
1. Approve Minutes of the June 21,2022,Regular Meeting.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Board Member Chowdhury and a second by Board Member
Walters, the Board voted four (4) for and zero (0) opposed to approve the minutes
pending changes.
2. Receive Financial Report.Andrea Smith gave an update.
3. Receive Update on KAB Event and Projects.
• June 14—July 28, 2022-Litter Attitude Survey, Litter Index and Community
Appearance Index—Andrea Smith summarized the Litter Attitude Survey. Josue Diaz
discussed the Litter Index and Community Appearance Index
• July 26,2022—City Council Awards Recognition.
• September 29, 2022—Educator Expo—Andrea Smith discussed the event.
4. Discuss Outreach Initiatives.
Josue Diaz and Andrea Smith gave updates on outreach initiatives. Board Member Chowdhury
discussed establishing KAB Youth Environmental Committee.
Adjournment
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Board Member Hermida and a second by Board Member
Chowdhury, the Board voted five(5) for and zero (0) opposed to adjourn the Regular
Meeting of the Keep Allen Beautiful Board at 7:43 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19, 2022.
The motion carried.
