SUPPORT OF THE N. T. M. W. D. APPLICATION FOR A
STEP I GRANT FOR THE ROWLETT CREEK ( PIANO )
WASTEWATER FACILITY
WHERE AS:
1. The City of Allen and the NTMWD ar a parties to, the City of Allen -
Trinity East Fork Regional Wastewater Systems Contract.
2. The City of Allen is a member of the East Fork Regional System of
the North Texas Municipal Water District.
3. The City of Allen's sewerage is being treated at the existing
NTMWD Rowlett Creek Wastewater Plant.
4. The City of Allen desires to control water pollution and protect,
improve, and enhance the water quality of the East Fork of the
Trinity River.
5. The City of Allen deisres to have its sewerage treated in an
economically and environmentally sound basis.
RE SOIVTION:
1. The MMM be authorized and requested to file for a federal grant
to study the best method of treating the City of Allen's sewerage.
2. The District should proceed in all haste to complete the planning
effort in order to eliminate any possible water pollution.
