A RESOLUTION SUPPORING THE ESTABLISHMENT
IN COLLIN COUNTY OF A FARMERS MARKET FACILITY
FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL COLLIN COUNTY RESIDENTS
WHEREAS, the Farmers Market operated by the City of Dallas
has benefited thousands of residents of Dallas County
and surrounding counties, and
WHEREAS, large numbers of residents of Allen and Collin County
benefit from the operation of the Farmers Market, and
WHEREAS, a large number of residents of Allen and Collin County
would benefit from the operation of a Farmers Market
if such facility were more convenient,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Allen, supports the location of a
Farmers Market facility in Collin County.

Resolution
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF ALLEN TO ASSESS AND
TAX AUTOMOBILES FOR THE TAX YEAR 1980.
WHEREAS, the 66th Legislature of the State of Texas has
voted into law House Bill 1060, known as the
"Tax Relief" Amendment effective January 1, 1979,
WHEREAS, Article 5 of H.B. 1060 applies to the exemption
of personal automobiles from the tax rolls; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Allen has the option of assessing
and taxing all automobiles for the tax year 1980;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Allen, Texas:
Section I That the City of Allen wishes to
exercise the option of assessing
and taxing automobiles for the
tax year 1980.
Section II That this Resolution take effect
immediately upon its adoption.
