A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS,
EXTENDING THE MORATORIUM ON REVIEW OF ALL ZONING AMENDMENT
REQUESTS RECEIVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OR BY THE PLANNING AND
ZONING COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, on the advise of legal counsel the City Council has
deemed it wise and prudent that no zoning amendment
request should be considered during the final stages
of review of the zoning text and zoning map or during
the adoption process; and
WHEREAS, the original zoning moratorium expires on August 20,
1981,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ALLEN CITY COUNCIL,
SECTION 1 Through this action the City Council extends the
moratorium on review of zoning amendments by the
City Council and Planning & Zoning Commission for
a period of 73 days.
SECTION 2 This moratorium will be extended beginning August 20,
1981.
