A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 436-4-83(R)
TO CORRECT AN ERROR IN A REFUND ISSUED FOR OVERPAYMENT OF
1982 TAXES.
WHEREAS, the Tax Assessor -Collector submitted a request
for refund on 1982 taxes on certain properties
that had made over payment on such taxes as
listed in Resolution No. 436-4-83(R), and;
WHEREAS, an error was made in the submission of an amount
due on one account, and;
WHEREAS, listed below is -the name of the tax payer that
is due the additional refund on his 1982 tax bill
and the correct amount of said refund, and;
WHEREAS, the correct amount of the refund is $178.03 rather
than the amount of $42.24 shown in Resolution No.
436-4-83 (R) ,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, THAT since all reasons for
adjustment are valid and are permitted by State Statute, the Tax
Department recommends that this correction in refund be made.
