A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, CASTING BALLOTS FOR POSITIONS ON THE BOARD
- OF DIRECTORS, COLLIN COUNTY TAX APPRAISAL DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the clerk of Collin County has issued an
official ballot to the City of Allen specifying that the
City has 75 votes to cast for one or more persons to fill
five positions on the Board of Directors of the Tax Appraisal
District, and,
WHEREAS, Section 6.03 (g) of S.B. 621 requires that
the City Council casts those ballots by a resolution of the
City Council, such action to be taken no later than November 15,
1983.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL,
CITY OF ALLEN:
SECTION 1. The City Council cast all 75 votes allotted
to the City for Donny Higgins to fill one of the positions
of the Board of Directors of the Collin County Tax Appriasal
District.
SECTION 2. The City Secretary is directed to deliver
a certified copy of this resolution to the County Clerk of
Collin County, Texas.
