Motion Bob Lowman Second Johnny Pannell that minutes of previous meeting
be approved as read. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Johnny Pannell that property owned by Bob Carr
be rezoned from "B" Classifaction to "F" Classifaction. Property being better
known as Lots 1 - 2A - Block 15 - OD. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Motion Johnny Pannell Second C.D. Whitaker that ordinance No. 110 be app-
roved annexing 100.392 Acres of land in the Lewis Wetsel Survey owned by Dell
Morton. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Motion Johnnie Pannell Second Clifford Hart that September 2nd be set as
date for hearing rezoning request by West -Browning on Tracts A & B Lewis Wetsel
Survey. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Bob Lowman that September 2nd be set as date for
Public Hearing on the annexation of property owned by Texas Power & Light Company
located in the William Perrin Surve¢. Motion Carried 5 For � Against.
Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Johnny Blankenship that bills presented be
approved. Motion carried 5 For 0 Against.
W.D. Sego appeared and registered a complaint to Council of vandals shoot-
ing at and throwing rocks against his house. Mc. Sego also requestdd that a sign
be placed on Butler 8McDermott designating McDermott as being a dead end street
west from Butler.
Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Clifford Hart that in all future building
the wiring used be no smaller than 12 guage. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Joe Dillard appeared before Council and reccomended that Mrs Ramon Womack
be appointed to the Library Board to replace Mrs Don Kissinger, who resigned
because of her moving from the City. Motion Bob Lowman Second Johnnie Blankenship
that Mr. Dillard's reccomendation be approved. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Clifford Hart that Chief of Police be authorized
to hire one other full time patrolman for the Police Department effective on or
before October lst, at a starting salary of 500.00 per month, Motion Carried 5
For 0 Against.
notion C.D. Whitaker Second Clifford Hart that meeting adjourn untill next
meeting date on September 2nd. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
