Motion Bob Lowman Second C.D. Whitaker that the minutes of previous meeting
be approved as read. Motion carried 4 For 0 Against.
Public hearing was held on the rezoning of property owned by 'West -Browning.
Property being better known as Tracts A &. B - Abstract 978 - Lewis Wetsel Survey.
Mr. Browning and Mr. West appeared to speak in behalf of the rezoninv, there being
no opposition, a motion by C.D. Whitaker Seconded by Bob Lowman that the zoning
request be approved changing the zoning from "A" to aF" Classifaction. Motion
Carried 4 For 0 Against.
Public hearing was held on the annexation of property owned by Texas Power
& Light Co. into the Corporate Limits of the City. There was no opcosition
to this request. Motion Bob Lowman Second Johnny Pannell that Ordinance No. III
be approved annexing this property. Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Johnny Pannell that Ordinance No. 112 be approved
changing the zoning on Lots 1 - 2A - Block 15 - Old Donation from "B" to "F"
Classifaction. Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against.
Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Johnny Pannell that Ordinance No. 113 be
approved regulating the speed of traffic on .Highway �5. Motion Carried 4 For 0 against.
Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Johnny Pannell that Ordinance No. 114 be
approved regulating the speed of traffic on F.M. #2170. Motion Carried 4 For
0 Against.
Motion Johnny Pannell Second C.D. Whitaker that September 16th be date set
for Public Hearing on the Annexation of 75.00 Acres in the G.:-;. Ford Survey -
Abstract 328 - owned by Neil Holm. Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against.
Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Johnny Pannell that resoluation be adopted
approving Tax Roll as approved by Board of Equalization. Motion Carried 4 For
0 Against.
Motion Bob Lawman Second C.D. 'r7hitaker that Tax Roll for 1971 be approved
as prepared by the Assessor & Collector of Taxes. Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against.
Motion C.D. Whitaker�resoluation be adopted setting the City Tax Rate
for 1971 at $ 1.25 per $ 0 assessed valuation. Second Clifford Hart. /
