R-677-2-86RESOLUTION NO. 677-2-86(R) A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, APPOINTING THE ELECTION OFFICIALS FOR THE APRIL 5, 1986 CITY COUNCIL ELECTION, SETTING THE RATE OF PAY FOR THE ELECTION OFFICIALS, THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF ELECTION CLERKS FOR THE POLLING PLACE, AND DESIGNATION OF THE ABSENTEE BALLOT BOARD. WHEREAS, on January 2, 1986 the City Council of the City of Allen, Collin County, Texas, ordered an election to be held on Saturday, April 5, 1986, for the purpose of electing three (3) members of the City Council (Places No. 2, 4, and 6) and the Mayor's place; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS, THAT: Section I. The Election Judge, Alternate Judge and Clerks to serve at the polling place of such election shall be and are hereby appointed as follows: Election Judge: Alternate Election Judge: Clerks: Peggy Armand Carol Baugh Marie Hefner Margaret McBride Glenda Ford Section II. In accordance with Section 32.091 of the Texas Election Code, the judges and clerks shall be paid at the rate of $5.00 per hour and the election judge shall receive an additional $25.00 for delivery of the returns of the election. Section III. There shall be a maximum of six (6) clerks at the polling place, if needed. Section IV. In accordance with Section 87.004 of the Texas Election Code, the presiding election judge, alternate election judge and one clerk shall also serve as the Absentee Ballot Board to count the ballots received in absentee voting.
