Presents Mayor Frank Dogger
Councilmen: Johnny Pannell, Johnnie Blankenship, Clifford Hart and
Bob Lowman, Absent, C.D. Whitaker.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Johnny Pannell that minutes of previous meeting
be approved as read. Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against.
Motion Johnny Pannell Second Bob Lowman that bills presented be approved.
Motion carried 4 For 0 Against.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Clifford Hart that City Secretary be authorized to
purchase an Addressing Machine for the Water Department. Motion carried 4 For 0
Against.
Mr & Mrs Evert Cannady appeared before Council to present their position
in an event that occured when a dog owned by them attacked and bit Officer Hancock
of the Police Department.
Mike LaFon, Consultant with Texas Power & Light Company, was present and
presented several brochures from other Cities for the Council's study. Council
is considering printing some material to be distributed advertising the City.
The Jaycees were represented by Don Montgomery and Don Francis.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Clifford Hart that meeting adjourn. Motion Carried
