A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY,
TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
ANY AND ALL DOCUMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE PURCHASE
OF RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR F.M. 2170 BETWEEN U.S. 75 AND
S.H. 5 AND TO EXPEND FUNDS AS NEEDED.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Allen, Collin
County, Texas, has determined the need for right-of-way for
F.M. 2170 between U.S. 75 and S.H. 5; and,
WHEREAS, the State of Texas has approved a right-of-way
plan for acquisition; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of obtaining such
right-of-way; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized acquisition of
such right-of-way; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council determines the necessity for
obtaining such right-of-way in a timely manner; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the City
Manager should have the authority to execute documents and
expend funds for the purchase of such right-of-way;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, THAT the City Council of
the City of Allen authorizes the City Manager to execute any or
all documents, and expend funds for the purchase of right-of-
way for F.M. 2170 between U.S. 75 and State Highway 5, and
further identified as Main Street Phases 2 and 3, and McDermott
Drive.
