A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AN ADJUSTMENT TO THE
1986 AND 1987 TAX ROLLS AND A REFUND ISSUED FOR OVERPAY-
MENT OF 1986 AND 1987 TAXES.
WHEREAS, a lawsuit was filed by a group of taxpayers in the Buckingham
Polo Club Subdivision against the Collin County Appraisal District contesting
the values placed on their properties for 1986 and 1987 Taxable Years, and;
WHEREAS, this lawsuit has been settled and judgement was granted in
favor of the taxpayers, and;
WHEREAS, this judgement has resulted in an over payment of 1986 and
1987 taxes on these properties, and;
WHEREAS, listed below are names of taxpayers that are due refunds and
the amount of the refund:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, THAT since all reasons for
adjustments are valid and are permitted by the Texas Property Tax Code, and
that the Allen Tax Department recommends that these funds be approved, the
Allen City Council authorizes that an adjustment be made to the 1986 and
1987 tax rolls and authorizes refunds be issued to the appropriate taxpayers.
