Call to Order
With a quorum of the Board members present,the Regular Meeting of the Allen Convention and Visitors Bureau
Advisory Board was called to order by Chair Musa at 8:01 a.m.on Thursday,December 8,2022,in the Council
Conference Room at Allen City Hall,305 Century Parkway,Allen,Texas 75013.
1. Approve Minutes of the October 13,2022,Regular Meeting.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Board Member Boone and a second by Board Member
Bassham,the Board voted five(5)for and none(0)opposed to approve the minutes of
October 13,2022,Regular Meeting. The motion carried.
Board Member Arnold took his seat.
2. Discussion regarding Allen Tourism Market.
Ms. Cromwell provided an update on market conditions stating Allen markets continue to trend
favorably.
3. Presentation of Visitor Data Dashboard Research.
Ms. Cromwell gave a live look at the dashboard and spoke regarding anonymous data mining.
4. Discussion regarding the Materials to be used for additional Marketing Initiatives.
QR code is being finalized and will be shared soon. One to guide and one to restaurants.
Adjournment
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Chair Musa and a second by Board Member Arnold,the Board
voted six(6)for and none(0)opposed to adjourn the meeting of the Allen Convention
and Visitors Bureau Advisory Board at 8:59 a.m.on Thursday,December 8,2022. The
motion carried.
