A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, APPOINTING A REPRESENTATIVE
TO CALCULATE AND PUBLISH THE CITY"S EFFECTIVE AND
ROLL BACK TAX RATES FOR THE 1988-89 TAX YEAR.
WHEREAS, under the provisions of Section 26.04(C) of
the Texas Property Tax Code, the governing body of the taxing
unit must designate an officer or employee as it's represent-
ative to calculate and publish the unit's effective tax rate
and the roll back tax rate;
THEREFORE, under the provisions od Section 26.04(C) of
the Texas Property Tax Code, the City Council of the City of
Allen, hereby designates Walter Curtis, Tax Assessor -Collector
as the City's representative to calculate and publish the effect-
ive and roll back tax rate for the 1988-89 taxable year.
