A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, NAMING THE CITY OF ALLEN MUNICIPAL
COMPLEX.
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous in selecting a name for the City of
Allen Municipal Complex that is both indicative of its status within the community
and symbolic of its character; and,
WHEREAS, a committee including members of the Library Board and Park
Board was appointed by the Council, to develop and recommend the name to the
new Allen Municipal Complex;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALLEN, TEXAS, THAT the new Municipal Complex be named Allen Civic Plaza
with the existing facilities being named as follows:
Police and Courts - Three Allen Civic Plaza
Library - Two Allen Civic Plaza
Future City Hall - One Allen Civic Plaza
