A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, TO CERTIFY THE EXCESS DEBT
COLLECTIONS FOR 1988 BY THE CITY OF ALLEN.
WHEREAS, Section 26.04(b)(B) of the Texas State Property Tax Code
requires the City's Tax Assessor -Collector to compare the amount of debt tax
dollars actually collected during the period from July 1, 1988 through June 30,
1989 with the amount that should have been collected according to the anticipated
collection rate projected for 1988. If the unit took in more debt tax dollars than
should have been collected, the Collector certifies the amount of excess collections
to the governing body. Therefore, I, Walter Curtis, Tax Assessor -Collector, for
the City of Allen hereby certifies that the amount calculated below is the amount
of excess debt collections for 1988.
