A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
PURCHASE COMPUTER EQUIPMENT THROUGH THE ANNUAL
CONTRACTS OF THE TEXAS STATE PURCHASING AND GENERAL
SERVICES COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Allen, Texas, pursuant to the
authority granted by Sections 271.081-271.083 Local Government Code, V . T . C . A. ,
as amended, desires to participate in described purchasing programs of the State
Purchasing and General Services Commission; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that participation in these
programs will be highly beneficial to the tax payers of the City, through the
anticipated savings to be realized;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS: That the City Council does request that
the State Purchasing and General Services Commission to include its stated need
for Contract Class No. 205-A9, Apple Compatible Computers, on the Commission's
annual contract for those items, whereby the City Manager is authorized and
directed to sign and deliver all necessary requests and other documents in
connection therewith for and on behalf of the City of Allen.
