Councilmen: C.D. Whitaker, Clifford Hart, Johnny Pannell, Robert
Lowman & Johnnie Blankenship.
Motion Johnnie Blankenship Second Johnny Pannell that minutes of previous
meeting be approved. Motion carried 5 For 0 Against.
Public hearing was held on annexation request of Dell Morton on 242.197
acres of land in the Peter Fisher Survey, Abstarct No. 324. No opposition
to this request was presented at hearing. Motion Bob Lowman Second C.D. Whitaker
that Mr. Morton's annexation request be approved. Motion carried 5 For 0 Against.
Letter was presented to Council from Planning & Zoning Commission reccomending
approval of Prelimenary Plat on High Meadows Addition #3 & N4. Jack Cook, Engineer
for Jonathan Kutner presented copies of Prelimenary Plats on these additions.
Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Johnny Pannell that plats be approved. Motion carried
5 For 0 Against.
Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Bob Lowman that bills presented be approved.
Motion carried 5 For 0 Against.
Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Johnny Pannell that in all residential construction
a minimum of 75% masonry be required on all exterior walls, also that paving be
completed on the street in any subdivision before a building permit be issued.
Motion carried 5 For 0 Against.
Virgil Stroup, Manager for Lone Star Gas Company, appeared before Council .
requesting a 3.05% rate increase for his company. This would amount to approximately
.28 per month for eacg residential user. Motion Johnnie Blankenship Second C.D.
Whitaker that rate increase be approved. Motion carried 5 For 0 Against.
Motion Bob Lowman Second C.D. Whitaker that meeting adjourn. Motion carried
5 For 0 Against.
