A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, DECLARING ADOPTION OF A MISSION STATEMENT
FOR THE CITY ORGANIZATION.
WHEREAS, the Allen City Council met on April 5-6 at the annual Spring Planning
Session, and did produce at that Session a mission statement and a list of priority issues
for the future of the organization; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that the mission statement accurately reflects the role of
the City's leadership and staff in making the Council's vision for Allen a reality and the
values the Council aspires for the organization to embody; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, THAT:
The mission of the City of Allen is hereby adopted, attached as "Exhibit A" and made
a part hereof for all purposes.
