A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, DIRECTING CITY STAFF TO MAKE
APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS WATER DEVELOPMENT BOARD FOR
FUNDING THROUGH THE STATE REVOLVING FUND FOR CERTAIN
WATER AND SEWER PROJECTS AND TO ENGAGE A CONSULTING
ENGINEER AND FINANCIAL ADVISOR AS REQUIRED TO MAKE SAID
APPLICATION.
WHEREAS, the City of Allen has certain water and sewer projects that need to be
constructed to insure proper development, adequate capacity and efficiency of the water
and sewer systems;
WHEREAS, the Texas Water Development Board has funds available through the State
Revolving Fund at better interest rates than are available through the sale of bonds by the
City.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS THAT:
The City Council direct City Staff to engage a consulting engineer and financial advisor to
proceed with the application to the Texas Water Development Board for funding and upon
approval of funding the design of certain water and sewer projects to be completed as soon
as possible.
