A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT
APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS WATER COMMISSION FOR WATER USE FOR
PERMITTING OF THE LAKES IN BETHANY LAKES PARK.
WHEREAS, the Texas Water Commission requires all impoundment to be permitted.
WHEREAS, the Texas Water Commission require written evidence in the form of by laws,
charters, or resolutions which specify the authority of the official to take such action.
WHEREAS, improvements are required to the existing lakes to make them functional in
Bethany Lakes Park.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS THAT: The City Council authorizes the submission of the
application to impound water to the Texas Water Commission and designates the City
Manager to file the application with the Texas Water Commission on behalf of the City
of Allen.

COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, ON THIS 6TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1992.
