Min - City Council - 1972 - 10/19 - RegularREGULAR MEETING October 19, 1972 City Council, City of Allen Present: Mayor Frank Dagger Councilmen: Bob Lowman, C.D. Whitaker, Johnny Pannell, Johnnie Blankenship and Cliffprd Hart. Motion C.D. Whitaker Second JohnnyRannell that minutes of previous meeting be approved. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against. Phil Pringle & Robert L. Carr appeared and presented a Site Plan for a Commerical Building to be built on property owned by them . Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Bob lawman that Site Plan be approved and building permit be issued for this construction. Motion Carried 5 For � Against. John Harrington appearded and made a presentation on Cable TV service to the Allen area. Council informed Mr. Harrington that this matter would be taken under advisement for further study before any decision could be reached. Motion Clifford Hart Second C.D. Whitaker that bills presented be approved. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against. Wallace Campbell, representing Hersey-Sparling Meter Cc appeared and presented a new contract on the purchase of water meters by the City. The price to be reduced $1.00 per meter provided the City would purchase 200 meters, to be delivered in lots of 50 per month. Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Johnnie Blankenship that this Contract be approved. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against. A petition was presented to Council by property owners on Keith Drive requesting the City for help in securing sewer service to their homes. Council agreed to contact City Engineer Walter Hicks for his study and reccomendations on this project and to cooperate with these property owners in any way possible. Council appointed. the follwwing Citizens to serve^on the Board of Adjustments: Gene Tobaben, Phil Pringle, Buddy Camper, Mike IaFon and George Anderson regular members; Alternate Members Wendell Seeman and Don Rodenbaugh.
