A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, IN SUPPORT OF THE MASTER PLAN DEVELOPMENT FOR
ROWLETT CREEK BY COLLIN COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the Federal Government has established the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act
(ISTEA) of 1991 for the purpose of funding transportation projects in the United States; and
WHEREAS, ISTEA has provisions to provide funding for the enhancement of significant historic, cultural
and non-traditional transportation resources related to transportation; and
WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has established the statewide Transportation
Enhancement Program to administer these funds; and
WHEREAS, TxDOT has requested that projects be submitted for the purpose of consideration for these
funds; and
WHEREAS, the City of Allen recognizes the merit of the Rowlett Creek Master Plan Development
enhancement project;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS THAT:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Allen hereby endorses the Rowlett Creek Master Plan
Development by Collin County.

COUNTY, TEXAS, ON THIS THE 21ST DAY OF OCTOBER, 1993.
