A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, SUPPORTING THE BOND PROGRAM CALLED BY THE
COMMISSIONER'S COURT FOR MAY 6, 1995.
WHEREAS, the Allen City Council is aware of the planning effort put in place by the Collin County
Commissioner's Court, its purpose is to review the capital needs of the County; and,
WHEREAS, the Collin County Commissioner's Court has sought citizen input in reviewing projects for the
bond program including four Allen residents; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed bond program includes projects of a critical nature for the City of Allen; and,
WHEREAS, one of the propositions includes partial funding for FM 2170 both east and west of US75 within
the City of Allen and a second proposition includes funding for a County Juvenile Detention Center that will
directly support the law enforcement needs within this community.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS THAT:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Allen hereby recommends and supports the Collin County
Commissioner's Court Bond Election scheduled for May 6, 1995.
SECTION 2: The City Secretary is hereby directed to distribute copies of this Resolution to appropriate
individuals and jurisdictions.
