A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS APPROVING CERTIFICATION OF ANTICIPATED TAX
COLLECTION RATE FOR THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, FOR THE
1995-96 TAXABLE YEAR.
WHEREAS, Section 26.04 (b) of the Texas Property Tax Code provides for the Tax Assessor -
Collector of the City to certify the anticipated amount of taxes that will be collected and the
anticipated collection percent for the taxable year 1995-96; and,
WHEREAS, Linda K. Engle, Tax Collector for the City of Allen, has certified the anticipated
amount and collection rate for City tax purposes for the 1995-1996 taxable year as stated below:
1995 Anticipated Levy 7,087,431
1995 Anticipated Collections 7,087,431
1995 Percent of Collections 100%
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS THAT: The City Council approves the certification of
anticipated tax collection rate for the City of Allen for the 1995-1996 taxable year.
DULY PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS ON THIS 7M DAY OF SEPT Mlj 1995.
