A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS APPROVING CERTIFICATION OF ANTICIPATED TAX
COLLECTION RATE FOR THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, FOR
THE 1996-97 TAXABLE YEAR.
WHEREAS, Section 26.04 (b) of the Texas Property Tax Code provides for the Tax Assessor -Collector to
certify the anticipated amount of taxes that will be collected and the anticipated collection rate for 1996-97
taxable year and anticipate a collection amount as calculated below:
1996 Anticipated Levy $8,094,190
1996 Anticipated Collections $8,094,190
1996 Percent of Collections 100%
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS THAT: The City Council approve the certification of anticipated tax collection
rate for the City of Allen for the 1996-1997 taxable year.
