Call to Order
With a quorum of the Board members present, the Regular Meeting of the Allen Convention and Visitor's
Bureau Advisory Board was called to order by 8:01 a.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2023, in the Council
Conference Room at Allen City Hall, 305 Century Parkway,Allen,Texas 75013.
1. Approve Minutes of the June 8,2023,Meeting.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Board Member Boone and a second by Board Member
Yates, the Board voted five (5) for and none (0) opposed to approve the minutes of
the April 13, 2023,Regular Meeting. The motion carried.
2. Discuss Allen Tourism Market.
Mrs. Cromwell presented reports from the visitor data dashboard, social media
successes, website traffic impacts, and travel industry insights.
3. Update on New Development and Destination Asset Updates.
Mrs. Cromwell provided an update on new development and destination assets.
Adjournment
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Board Member Boone and a second by Board Member
Bassham, the Board voted five (5) for and none (0) opposed to adjourn the Regular
Meeting of the Allen Convention and Visitors' Bureau Advisory Board at 8:41 a.m.
on Thursday,June 8,2023. The motion carried.
