Call to Order
With a quorum of the Board members present, the Regular Meeting of the Keep Allen Beautiful Board was
called to order by Chair Walters at 6:35 pm on Tuesday,August 15,2023,in the City Hall Basement Conference
Room A of City Hall,305 Century Parkway,Allen,TX 75013.
1. Approve Minutes of the July 18,2023,Regular Meeting.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Board Member Chisholm and a second by Board Member Asch,the
Board voted four(4)for and zero(0)opposed to approve the minutes.
2. Receive Quarterly Financial Report.
Staff provided the financial report.
3. Presentation on Educator Expo by Environmental Education Specialist Andrea Smith.
Staff provided an update on the Educator Expo.
4. Discuss Keep Allen Beautiful Events and Projects.
Staff provided updates on upcoming events and projects.
5. Update Outreach Initiatives.
Staff provided updates on outreach initiatives.
6. Items of Interest.[Board announcements regarding local civic and charitable events, meetings,fundraisers,
and awards.]
The board and staff discussed items of interest.

MOTION: Upon a motion made by Board Member Ponder and a second by Board Member Asch, the
Board voted six(6)for and zero(0)opposed to adjourn the Regular Meeting of the Keep Allen
Beautiful Board at 6:58 p.m. on Tuesday,August 15,2023. The motion carried.
