REGUTAR MEETING
October 17, 1974
City Council, City of Allen
Present: Mayor Frank Dugger
Councilmen: C. D. Whitaker, Bob lowman, Clifford Hart, Johnny
Pannell, Johnnie Blankenship
Motion Bob Lowman Second Johnny Pannell that minutes of previous meeting
be approved as read. Motion carried 5 for 0 against.
Fire Chief Ronny Gentry appeared about the concrete work for the fire
station. Council requested Mr. Gentry to contact the lowest bidder
and make certain that this bid was still good.
Motion C. D. Whitaker Second Clifford Hart to pay bills presented by
the City Secretary. Motion carried 5 for 0 against.
Mfrs. Eileen Tollett appeared before the Council and requested that action
be taken to clean and mow unsightly lots in the City. After much dis-
cussion, the Council agreed to adopt a get -tough policy in reference to
these lots throughout the City. Council agreed that the City Secretary
should contact all of the property owners that are in violation of
Ordinance 38, of the City of Allen, and if they do not act within ten
days, the City will.
Notion Bob Lowman Second Johnny Pannell that meeting adjourn. Motion
carried 5 for 0 against.
