Councilmen: C.D. Whitaker, Bob Lowman, Johnnie Blankenship, Johnny
Pannell and Clifford Fart
Motion Bob Lowman Second Johnny Pannell that minutes of previous meeting be
approved as read. Motion carried 5 for 0 against.
Mayor read letter from Abernathy and Orr, the City's Attorneys, which stated that
in their opinion that Builders Hardware can remain where they are. Mayor asked
that City Secretary, Larry Moore, send a copy of the letter to Mrs. Brazeal and
Mr. Stratton. Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Clifford Hart that this matter be
closed. Motion carried 5 For 0 Against.
Mrs. Call asked that the City contact the developer of Fountain Park and request
that he complete Roaring Springs Drive all the way to Main Street. Council advised
Mrs. Call to appear before the Planning & Zoning Committee.
Mrs. Terry Nance appeared and asked about the completion date of the new water line.
Mayor Dugger advised her that it would probably be April or May of 1975•
Police Chief Hancock requested tl�t Council supply curtains for the Police Department.
Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Bob Lowman that Chief Hancock be alloted $250.00 to
spend for this purpose. Motion carried 5 For 0 Against.
Motion Clifford Hart Second Bob Lowman that meeting adjourn. Motion carried 5 For
0 Against.
