Call to Order
With a quorum of the Board members present, the Regular Meeting of the Allen Convention and Visitor's_
Bureau Advisory Board was called to order by 8:03 a.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2023, in the Council
Conference Room at Allen City Hall, 305 Century Parkway,Allen,Texas 75013.
1. Approve Minutes of the June 08,2023,Regular Meeting.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Board Member Yates and a second by Board Member Boone,
the Board voted five(5) for and none(0) opposed to approve the minutes of June 08,
2023,Regular Meeting. The motion carried.
2. Discuss Allen Tourism Market.
Ms. Cromwell provided an update on visitors' economic impact to the Allen community stating Allen
markets continue to trend favorably.
3. Update on New Development and Destination Asset Updates.
Ms.Cromwell provided an update on the Allen Premium Outlets reopening and new restaurants coming
to Allen.
4. Receive FY2023-FY2024 Convention and Visitors Bureau Proposed Budget.
Adjournment
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Board Member Musa and a second by Board Member Boone,
the Board voted five(5)for and none(0)opposed to adjourn the meeting of the Allen
Convention and Visitors Bureau at 8:54 a.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2023. The
motion carried.
