RBGUTAR MEETING
January 2, 1975
City Council, City of Allen
Present: Mayor Frank Dagger
Councilmen: C. D. Whitaker, Clifford Hart, Johnny Pannell
Bob Iowman and Johnnie Blankenship.
Motion Bob Iowman Second C. D. Whitaker that minutes of previous meeting
be approved as read. Motion carried 5 for 0 against.
Collin County Commissioner Chuck Frisk appeared and requested that the
County be allowed to tie in to the Allen Water line for service at
the County Barn. Council advised Mr. Frisk that they had no objections
to his request.
Notion C. D. Whitaker Second Clifford Hart that bid received on Police
car be rejected. Motion Carried 5 for 0 against.
Nelson Willis of The Prudential Insurance Company appeared in reference
to a City Retirement Program. Council advised that when they decided
what type of plan would be best, they will ask those Agents that are
interested to submit bids.
Damon Griffin appeared in reference to houses to be built in Windridge #l.
He advised Council that these homes will be in the 11-1200 sq, foot rang•.
He will check the Farm and Home 502 plan and be back in touch with the
Council.
Notion C. D. Whitaker Second Clifford Hart that Police request for an
additional man be denied at this time. Motion carried 5 for 0 Against.
Motion C. D. Whitaker Second Johnnie Blankenship to pay bills submitted
by City Secretary. Notion carried 5 for 0 against.
Motion C.D.Whitaker Second Bob Lowman that meeting adjourn. Motion
carried 5 for 0 against.
