Call to Order
With a quorum of the Board members present, the Regular Meeting of the Allen Convention and Visitor's
Bureau Advisory Board was called to order by Chair Musa at 8:01 a.m. on Thursday, October 12, 2023, in the
Council Conference Room at Allen City Hall,305 Century Parkway,Allen,Texas 75013.
1. Election of Officers.
Chair Musa called for nominations from the Board for the purpose of electing officers.
The following slate of officers was presented:
Crystella Mclvor for the position of Chair.
Kira Boone for the position of Vice-Chair.
Sarah Bassham for the position of Secretary.
With no other nominations offered,Chair Musa closed the call for nominations. Crystella Mclvor was
elected for the position of Chair, Kira Boone was elected for the position of Vice-Chair and Sarah
Bassham was elected for the position of Secretary by a vote of six(6) for and none(0) opposed. The
motion carried.
2. Approve Minutes of the August 10,2023,Regular Meeting.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Board Member Boone and a second by Board Member Yates, the
Board voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed to approve the minutes of August 10, 2023,
Regular Meeting. The motion carried.
3. Discuss CVB Goals for Fiscal Year 2023-2024.

Assistant City Manager Vice requested recommendations on goals for future meetings from the Board
members present.
4. Reports.
Ms. Alexander provided updates on Allen Tourism Market. Ms. Ralston provided updates on sales
efforts and booking trends. Ms. Weissert provided updates on marketing strategy and new website.
5. Calendar.
Ms.Ralston presented upcoming city-wide events.
Adjournment
Chair Musa adjourned the Regular Meeting of the Allen Convention and Visitor's Bureau Advisory Board at
9:05 a.m. on Thursday, October 12,2023.
