REGUTAR MEETING
October 16, 1975
City Council, City of Allen
Present: Mayor Frank Dugger
Councilmen: H.C. Brooks, Jr., C.D. Whitaker, Bob Lowman,
Clifford Hart and Mickey Pierson.
Motion Bob Ivwman Second Clifford Hart that minutes of last meeting be
approved as read. Motion carried 5 for 0 against.
Walter Dann and Wayne of Fox and Jacobs appeared in reference
to placing the studs in their homes at 24" instead of 16". After much
discussion, Motion was made by Bob Lowman and Seconded by Mickey Pierson
that the City follow the Southern building Code and the Code permits
studs to range from 16: to 24: Motion Carried 3 for 2 against.
Clifford Hart and C.D. Whitaker voted against.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Clifford Hart to pay bills presented. Motion
carried 5 for 0 against.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Clifford Hart that meeting adgourn into executive
session. Motion carried 5 for 4 against.
In executive Session Motion was made by Mickey Pierson and Seconded
by Bob Lowman that City appoint Crown Life Insurance Col as the
Insurance Company for the City Dnployees and that the City will pay
for the employees coverage and half of his dependents coverage.
Motion carried 5 for 0 against.
