Present: Mayor Frank Dugger
Councilmen: C.D. Whitaker, C ifford Hart, H.C. Brooks, Jr, and
Mickey Pierson
Absent: Bob Lowman
Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Mickey Pierson that minutes of last meeting be
approved as read. Motion carried 4 for 0 against.
Council discussed the water cut-offs for nonpayment. They agreed that if
the cut-off date fell on a Friday that the city should wait until the
following Monday to disconnect the water.
Motion Mickey Pierson Second Clifford Hart to adopt ordinance # 186.
Which set stud centers at 16", chimney Heighth and 12-2 copper wiring.
Motion carried 4 for 0 against.
Motion Clifford Hart Sero nd C.D. Whitaker to pay bills. Motion carried
4 for 0 against.
Mrs. Oscar Roberts appeared and discussed the problem she thought she had
with getting the Police Dept. to respond t, her troubles with the youth
in Hillside Village. After Much Discussion the Mayor and the Council
assured her that the Police Dept. would do everything in their powers to
reileve her of this problem.
Motion H.C. Brooks, Jr. Second Mickey Pierson that meeting adjourn.
Motion carried 4 for 0 against.
