' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, ESTABLISHING FEES AND CHARGES FOR SOLICITATION
PERMIT APPLICATIONS, CRIMINAL HISTORY BACKGROUND CHECKS AND
INDENTIFICATION CARDS; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE;
PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Allen, Texas, requires applications for solicitation permits; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to establish the fees and charges set forth herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby establishes the following non-refundable fees and charges for
solicitation permit applications:
Permit Application Fee........................................$50.00
per applicant;
Background Check Fee..................................$35.00
per solicitor; and
Identification Card Fee..................................$5.00
per solicitor.
SECTION 2. Should any word, sentence, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase or section of this Resolution,
be adjudged orheld to be void or unconstitutional, the same shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions
' of said Resolution, which shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3. All prior Resolutions of the City of Allen, Collin County, Texas, in conflict with the provisions
of this Resolution, be and the same are hereby repealed; provided, however, that all other provisions of said
Resolutions not in conflict with the provisions of this Resolution shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 4. This Resolution shall take effect upon its adoption provided; however, the fees and charges
established herein shall apply for solicitor permit applications filed subsequent to the effective date of Ordinance
No. 3395-6-16(R), and it is, accordingly, so resolved.
