' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE
ADVANCE FUNDING AGREEMENT AMENDMENT #1 WITH THE STATE OF
TEXAS ACTING BY AND THROUGH THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION FOR FUNDING FM 2786/STACY ROAD TRAFFIC SIGNAL
CONSTRUCTION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City and the State executed a contract on August 13' 2012, to effectuate thew agreement
for the City to assist the State by furnishing and installing traffic signal equipment at FM 2786 and SH 5 and
FM 2786 at Angel Parkway; and,
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to amend that contract; and,
WHEREAS, upon full review and consideration of the Amendment #l, and all matters related thereto, the
City Council is of the opinion and finds that the terms and conditions thereof should be approved, and that
the City Manager should be authorized to execute the Amendment 91 on behalf of the City of Allen, Collin
County, Texas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
TEXAS, THAT:
' SECTION 1, The Advance Funding Agreement Amendment #1 for funding FM 2786/Stacy Road Traffic
Signal Construction, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference for all purposes, having been
reviewed by the City Council of the City of Allen, Texas, and found to be acceptable and in the best interest
of the City and its citizens, be, and the same is hereby, in all things approved, and the City Manager is hereby
authorized to execute the Agreement on behalf of the City of Allen, Collin County, Texas.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately from and after its passage.

COUNTY, TEXAS, THE 13ra DAY OF MAY, 2014.
