Motion Pierson Second Tollett to adopt minutes as read. Motion carried
5 For 0 Against.
June 16 was set as date for Public Rearing on the Special Exception
request so as to allow a day care center in LR zoning. Property being
located in the David Wetsel Survey, Abst. #977. Motion Pierson Second
Chandler to set this hearing. Motion carried 5 For 0 Against.
Carl Gilliland presented his recommendations regarding some changes in
our insurance coverage.
1. Increase property insurance from 10,000 to 100,000 covering damages.
2. Add premise medical pay, in order to cover Bodily Injury, when we
feel a moral obligation
3. Consider purchasing liability coverage for City Council and Police Dept.
4. Consider purchasing an Umbrella Liability Policy in the amount of
$1,000,000 to cover any major liability.
Motion Brooks Second Tollett for Carl to have #1 and 2 worked no with
figures by the next meeting and to have something on #3 and 4 by the
renewal date, July 25. Motion carried 5 For 0 Against.
Motion Brooks Second Chandler to pay bills as presented. Motion carried
5 For 0 Against.
Motion Brooks Second Farmer to adjourn. Motion carried 5 For 0 Against.
