' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, PLACING IN NOMINATION THE NAME OF GARY
RODENBAUGH FOR MEMBERSHIP ON THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CENTRAL APPRAISAL DISTRICT OF COLLIN COUNTY; CASTING BALLOTS
FOR THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR THE CENTRAL APPRAISAL DISTRICT
OF COLLIN COUNTY IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 6.03(g) OF THE STATE
PROPERTY TAX CODE; DIRECTING THE CITY SECRETARY TO NOTIFY
INTERESTED PARTIES OF SAID ACTION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Allen can place in nomination as many as five (5) names to be Directors of the Central
Appraisal District; and,
WHEREAS, said nominations must be made in an open meeting and delivered to the Chief Appraiser before
October 15, 2011; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is required by the State Property Tax Code to cast votes for the Board of
Directors of the Central Appraisal District; and,
WHEREAS, said votes must be made in an open meeting and delivered to the Chief Appraiser before
November 15, 2011; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires for Gary Rodenbaugh, 102 W. Main Street, Allen, Texas 75013 to
continue service on the Board of Directors.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Council places in nomination Gary Rodenbaugh.
SECTION 2. The City Council casts all 131 votes for Gary Rodenbaugh to become a member of the Central
Appraisal District of Collin County Board of Directors.
SECTION 3. The City Council directs the City Secretary to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to the
Central Appraisal District and notify all other appropriate parties of this action.
SECTION 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage.
