A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, CORRECTING A SCRIVENER'S ERROR IN RESOLUTION NO.
3042-10-11(R) REGARDING PARK AND RECREATION FEES FOR THE USAGE OF
THE ALLEN SENIOR RECREATION CENTER MULTI-PURPOSE ROOM (TWO
SECTIONS); PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council previously adopted Resolution No. 3042-10-11(R) to establish various fees
within certain ranges for Parks and Recreation adult athletic programs and to establish fees for the rental of
certain facilities; and,
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 3042-10-11(R) contained a Scrivener's Error in regard to the usage of the Allen
Senior Recreation Center Multi -Purpose Room (two sections); and,
WHEREAS, the City Council intended that Resolution No. 3042-10-11(R) reflect an hourly charge
of $150 per hour for such usage but, due to a transposition error, Resolution No. 3042-]0-1](R)
incorrectly reflected a charge of $75 per hour.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, THAT:
' SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Allen, Texas, hereby reestablishes the following ranges of
fees and charges set forth herein for Parks and Recreation for the use of Don Rodenbaugh Natatorium, Joe
Farmer Recreation Center, the Allen Senior Center, Ford Pool, and The Edge @ Allen Station Park Visitor
Center, and comets the Scrivener's Error in the hourly rate for usage of the Allen Senior Recreation
Center Multi -Purpose Room (two sections):

Allen Chamber of Commerce and Allen Independent School District will not be charged for room rental of
the Allen Senior Recreation Center or the Don Rodenbaugh Natatorium for nonprogrammable space.
*Non -Profit Organizations — Organizations that have been recognized by the Internal Revenue Services as tax

exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and that operate or maintain facilities in Allen,
Texas.
Non -Profit Allen based organizations may use the Allen Senior Recreation Center with approval of the Parks
and Recreation Department and will be charged for staff costs plus a deposit.

SECTION 2. The Parks and Recreation Director is authorized by administrative order, a copy of which
shall be filed in the office of the City Secretary, to establish from time to time various fees based on market
' conditions for programs conducted by the Parks and Recreation Department.
SECTION 3. All resolutions in conflict with the provisions hereof, be, and they are hereby, repealed.

SECTION 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage and it is, accordingly, so
resolved.
