A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING APPROPRIATE PERSONNEL
AND CONSULTANTS TO PROCEED WITH ARRANGEMENTS AND THE
PREPARATION OF DOCUMENTS FOR THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF
SALES TAX REVENUE BONDS BY THE ALLEN ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION AND RESOLVING OTHER MATTERS
INCIDENT AND RELATED THERETO.
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and determines officials of the City of Allen, Texas (the
"City"), Estrada Hinojosa & Company, Inc., financial advisor, and Fulbright & Jaworski, L.L.P.,
bond counsel, should be authorized and directed to proceed with the preparation of documents for
the offering and sale of sales tax revenue bonds by the Allen Economic Development Corporation
(the "Corporation') to finance certain capital improvements for the Corporation; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council anticipates such bonds will be approved by the City Council at a
meeting to be held on or about May 25, 2010.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, THAT:
' SECTION 1. The appropriate officials of the City, together with Estrada Hinojosa & Company,
Inc., financial advisor, and Fulbright and Jaworski L.L.P, bond counsel, are hereby authorized and
directed to proceed with the preparation of the documents and to make the appropriate arrangements
for the offering and sale of sales tax revenue bonds in the approximate amount of $6,815,000 to be
issued in one or more series by the Allen Economic Development Corporation. The appropriate
officials of the City are hereby authorized and directed to furnish said consultants with information
and data necessary for the sale of such bonds, including the amount of bonds ultimately to be offered
for sale.
SECTION 2. It is officially found, determined and declared that the meeting at which this
Resolution is adopted was open to the public and public notice of the time, place, and subject matter
of the public business considered at said meeting, including this Resolution, was given, all as
required by V.T.C.A., Government Code, Chapter 551, as amended.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in force and effect from and after its passage on the date
shown below.

COUNTY, TEXAS, ON THIS THE 13TH DAY OF APRIL, 2010.
