Councilmen: Joe Farmer, Charles Chandler, Glea Andrew, and
H.C. Brooks, Jr.
Absent: H.R. Daugherty
As the purpose of this called meeting was to set the tax rate, the
mayor neo®eroded setting the rate at $.78, which should leave
$19,937 in excess of the proposed budget requirements. A motion
was made by Farmer Second b7 Andrew to set the tax rate at 78¢
for the fiscal year 1978-79. Motion carried 4 For 0 Against.
Motion Brooks Second Chandler to adjoura. Motion carried uauimously.
